Toyota is rebooting the Sequoia, which was first introduced during the 2001 LA Auto Show and later released into the market. Along with the SR5, Limited and Platinum models, you will now be able to order the Toyota Sequoia in the TRD Sport model. The family SUV will sport new fog lamps and daytime running lights. The standard vehicle will be using 18-inch wheels.

The interior will offer three rows of seats, making room for eight passengers. The front row is wide, while the second row can move if more leg room is needed. The third row is best used by children, it’s a tight fit for most adults. You can also fold down the back row if you need more trunk space. The 2019 Toyota Sequoia has 120.1 cubics of cargo space, without folding down the back row.

The Toyota Sequoia also sports the 6.1-inch touchscreen with the infotainment system built in. This is available in the base model, other trims will get a bigger one. The Toyota Sequoia will get SR5, Limited, Premium and TRD sport trims. The SR5 model with standard features will get fog lights, rearview camera, power moonroof, telescoping steering wheel, leather-trimmed tilt, three-zone automatic climate control Bluetooth hands-free. There is also an eight-way configuration seat for the driver and 4-way for the front passenger, 18-inch alloy wheels and Entune Audio Plus.

The Limited trims will add to all this a power liftgate, leather seating, Entune Premium Audio and bigger wheels of 20-inch.

In the Platinum trim, there is an option for leather seating, cruise control, Adaptive Variable Suspension, air suspension and powerful Entune JBL Audio Premium system

2019 Toyota Sequoia TRD Sport

In this trim and in all previous, you will get either the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) system or 4-wheel drive (4WD). However, the TRD sport will bring very sports appearance and an extra touch of black to both the exterior and interior styles, along with 20-inch wheels. It will also come with leather-trimmed seating, heated front and rear seats and a 9-inch display with navigation and App Suite.

2019 Toyota Sequoia Engine and Performance

The Toyota Sequoia will have a 5.7-liter V-8 engine that will create 381 horsepower and 401 torque. The engine comes with the 6-speed auto transmission. The vehicle will also be made available with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive.

This new model is able to reach speeds of 60 miles per hour in only seven seconds or less. In rear-wheel drive, the vehicle is able to get 13,17 and 15 miles per gallon. When you are in all-wheel drive, you can get 13 miles per gallon in the city, 17 miles per gallon on the highway and 14 miles per gallon combined. The top speed will be limited to 115mph.

The 2019 Toyota Sequoia will debut in late 2018. The model with rear-wheel drive SR5 comes with the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price something less than $50,000. However, the models TRD Sport and Limited will be priced around $52,500 and $58,200. If you go for the 4-wheel drive system you must pay extra few thousand dollars more. The last one is Platinum model and most priced with a price around $66,000.

    We have a 2007 Toyota Sequoia Limited and LOVE it. Have been talking about ordering a new loaded one but:
    1-Do NOT want the black dash!!!!!! What happened????
    2-Could you gussy up the dash and doors with little wood instead of it looking like a muscle car?
    3-Cup holder in the middle of seat 2 not good for the grandchildren!! What happened????
    4-The third seat looks CHINTZ and unsafe. What happened????
    5-We like the tan leather seats.
