Two versions of 3.0-liter diesel powertrain are in the mix. Base output for a 2.8-liter displacement is about 180 hp and 330 lb-ft (450 Nm) of twisting power. Both manual and automatic transmissions are available for pairing the diesel unit.
2019 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado to Offer Petrol Drivetrains
Besides diesel, the 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will come with gasoline units. Buyers in China could purchase the crossover with a 4.0-liter V-6 petrol engine. This drivetrain was removed from engine room in 2015, and replaced with 3.5-liter V-6. However, bigger powertrain could make a comeback for 2019 LC Prado. The last, but not the least important mill is a 2.7-liter four-pot engine.
Market Availability
The 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is not coming to the US. However, this crossover is very popular in Europe, and especially in Pacific Asia. There, Aussie fans can get the newest version right after the premiere. Also, the SUV is going to appear in the Philippines not too long after the debut. Also, Chinese and Japanese markets will get special versions and engines.

The cheaper version is VX. Its price in Australia will be almost 80,000 AUD, which is nearly $60,000. However, Kakadu model is the most luxurious one. Its price is speaking enough. Current LC Prado Kakadu costs 85k AUD, and the next edition will be probably over 90,000 AUD ($70,000).
