The upcoming 2019 Rolls-Royce Cullinan is a crossover SUV, named after the largest diamond ever found. It is a luxurious SUV that can beat any terrain and it offers stunning reliability and comfort. While Rolls-Royce has no history in making SUVs, the company revealed an interest in making one, a couple of years ago. It all started as an idea with no clear picture of vehicle’s proportions or even a shape.

However, in 2015, things are drastically changing, and Royce started a production of its first crossover SUV. The 2019 Cullinan mixes styling cues taken from some of the company’s vehicles and it looks gorgeous. After some images that are leaked, we can say for sure that the new Cullinan is coming, and it will challenge likes of Bentley Bentayga.

As a matter of fact, Cullinan is based on the same aluminum architecture as the Phantom and sits on the same platform. On top of that, when spy shots leaked, it became clear that the Cullinan will come with the same chrome grille and headlights as well. However, the part below the front grille looks unique and in a different configuration and taller bumper. It comes with a curb weight of nearly 6150 pounds, this is 500 pounds more than the base Phantom model.

From the side, the roof looks longer and the rear section is kinda boxy, so the 2019 Cullinan will arrive with a more old-school appearance and less modern, as almost all new sporty crossovers. On the other hand, we can see plenty of brand’s trademark design cues such as high beltline, a coach doors, huge moonroof and the elegant thin-spoke wheels. Those numbers will put the 2019 Cullinan in the second place of the most powerful Rolls-Royces after the Wraith model.
