Renault Captur managed to gain an instant success after its presentation at the Geneva International Motor Show. Moreover, Captur is named as the European’s best-selling crossover in 2016. The upcoming 2019 Renault Captur will continue to build on its original platform and the two-tone color scheme is included as before. However, new Captur will now offer three new body paints, a Desert Orange, Ocean Blue and Mercury Silver that is an optional roof color. That means the latest Renault’s crossover is available in 36 different combinations.
The headlights are equipped with a LED technology. Also, the C-shaped LED daytime running lights are in the offer as well. As the years go by, Captur starts to look more like Kadjar model, its big brother. Those two will now share the same radiator grille that features a single chrome strip. The bumpers are incorporated with new skid plates and the wheels are 16-inch standard and 17-inches are optional. Glass roof is refined and it offers a two-tone setup.

Furthermore, with the Dinamicqe Nav one will get the best features for the money. It comes with sat-nav and colorful seven-inch screen, removable seat covers, rain sensitive wipers + automatic lighting and there is a powerful 4x20W Arkamys system. The GT model will get more modifications on the exterior and interior. This model will be very attractive and stylish. It will get the leather steering wheel and gear knob, light harmony dashboard and there is a four package Premium pack, exterior and interior touch pack Chrome and techno pack with front and rear parking sensors. The last three trims Dynamique S Nav, Signiture X Nav and Signature S Nav will be offered with rear parking sensors as standard, while the Signature S Nav adds Nappa leather seats, powerful Bose audio system with great sound quality, LED front fog lights with cornering light function and more.
Safety Technologies
The 2019 Renault Captur will be safer thanks to the upgraded safety equipment. Furthermore, there is a possibility that this model will get Level 2 autonomous technology. This technology will control steering and acceleration without the driver present on the steering wheel.
Also, this new model will come with many innovations. The features that will come standard with it are easy parking assist, hill assist, brake emergency assist, ESP or electronic stability control, child lock system and many more.
2019 Renault Captur engine variants and output
There is a huge possibility that the 2019 Renault Captur will carry its engine lineup into 2019. As there is no official information about this category, we can assume that this crossover will use the same drivetrain as before. The base 0.9-liter three-cylinder petrol engine is a standard engine on the base model. This one will make 90 HP and 100 lb-ft of torque.
The second drivetrain is a 1.2-liter four-cylinder, it can produce up to 118 HP and 151 lb-ft of torque. The third powertrain option is the 1.5-liter diesel unit and it returns 108 HP and 162 lb-ft of torque. This one will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph at 9.9 seconds with the manual transmission. Also, there will be the much powerful 1.6-liter four that will be able to make 158 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. This one engine will be available with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. Moreover, the 2019 Renault Captur is likely to obtain its first hybrid model. However, there are no exact details about this claims.
2019 Renault Captur price and release date
The 2019 Renault Captur will keep the existing price of around $22,000. Furthermore, the potential hybrid model could cost an additional $10,000. Renault’s best-selling crossover will hit the markets in the first quarter of 2019.
