2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC is the best-looking SUV in the lineup
Perhaps, the 2019 model is bigger than it looks and we found that both good and interesting. Instead of looking robust and ponderous, new GLC is a sharp and substantial SUV. The curves are smooth and in line with other Mercedes’ styles, it is attractive. If you compare new 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC to the other European SUVs, you must admit that it is the best-looking SUV in the lineup. The design made its debut on the S-Class and the wheel size goes from standard 18-inch to 20-inch. If you are a fan of matte-paint than you are going to love new Designo.
2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC Interior
The interior of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC looks brilliant. Soft leather and glossy wood materials are all over the cabin, just like plenty of high-tech features. The cabin feels inviting and warm, but then again, modern and beautiful. GLC offers probably the best interior in its class, and on top of that, functionality is amazing. There is a room for five-passengers and the seats are comfortable.
The driving seat is perfectly great, and now even shorter drivers will face zero problems. Thanks to a great positioning of the seats, the visibility is great, and storage space is increased with a center console bin, large glove box, and door pockets.
2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC Engine
Refreshed 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC will come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the hood. This drivetrain makes 245 HP and it comes with both RWD and AWD, and 9-speed automatic transmission. The biggest fans of off-roaders are disappointed as Mercedes introduced new GLC as a fully off-road capable. Lack of low-range is telling a different story despite various drive-mode functions in the Dynamic Select system. Fuel economy is maybe the best in its class, if not, then among the best.
Fuel Economy and Towing Capacity
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC is rated at 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway with all-wheel-drive. Driving Mercedes-Benz GLC feels great. Thanks to a Dynamic Select Mode, you can set the drive to a Sport or Sport+. With sport modes, the shifts become more noticeable and on the highway, GLC offers a smooth ride. This model can maximum tow 3,500 lbs.

Similar to the design with the standard GLC300 model, the new one will get modified front fascia with blue accent on the grill and also it will get unique LED headlights. The F-CELL lettering sits below the body line. However, the side view mirrors on this model are remaining same. Inside the SUV one will get plenty of technology.
The interior of the hydrogen-electric plug-in hybrid is also identical to the standard GLC. The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC F-Cell will boost new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a new full HD 10.25-inch infotainment screen. However, as for the engine, it will be packed with a single electric motor that will provide 197 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
The fuel tank of this model can store 9.7 pounds of hydrogen, this quantity is enough for around 270 miles of range. If one is left without fuel you can run on 13.8-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery around 30 miles when its full. Furthermore, the drivers will be able to charge this new model at public charging stations.
There are no real rivals in this segment of the SUV, only model Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell will be the main opponent. The Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell comes with a hydrogen-powered system and a 24-kW battery that provide 265 miles on a single charge.
