2019 Lincoln MKC Coming as a Hybrid?

Lincoln had the honor to officially open the latest Auto Show in Los Angeles with the presentation of an updated MKC. This model that brings a refined design and a step further compared with the parent company, Ford. The 2019 Lincoln MKC could come in Black Label trim.

The MKC was originally introduced in 2013 as a concept vehicle. Production model arrived two years later. This was Lincoln’s entry into the premium crossover class. The first MKC was produced on the same base as the Ford Kuga. However, the two products were pretty different. Now, sales are constantly jumping. With 2019 Lincoln MKC, bosses hope to duplicate the figure by 2020.

About half of the customers of this crossover spent money on Lincoln for the first time in their lives. The great merit for this has a youthful design. The 2019 Lincoln MKC will have an open relationship with cousins from Ford, Kuga, and Escape. Fans could see these engines in some other Ford and Lincoln models around the world. The standard powertrain is a 2.0-liter engine. It develops 245 hp and 275 pound-feet of torque.

Furthermore, there is an optional 2.3-liter drivetrain. This mill comes with 285 hp and 05 lb-ft of torque. The front-wheel drive is standard. Buyers can also pick a four-wheel drive. One of the rare mechanical changes for 2019 Lincoln MKC is the gearbox. A new 8-pace replaced the six-speed transmission.

By then, the 2019 Lincoln MKC will meet requirements of the market. At an initial price of $33,000, the refreshed crossover is not too expensive for a luxury vehicle.
