The new 2020 Lamborghini Urus will raise up the production. The first edition of the high-end SUV in 2018 delivered 1,000 units. The number will climb to 3,500 this year. Next season will offer 8,000 vehicles. Well, the company plans first big updates for the lineup. Urus is bringing interesting concepts to the squad. The first one to appear is the ST-X racing machine or Urus Performance.
All in all, the base model will keep existing look and dimensions. The company could use lighter materials for some parts. Urus is already one of the lightest SUVs in the premium segment. The only one which comes with fewer pounds is the Porsche Cayenne. Also, the price of the 2020 Lamborghini Urus stays put. We will see what will be the cost of the racing ST-X vehicle.
Specs
Under the hood of the 2020 Lamborghini Urus is a 4.0 V8 twin-turbo engine. This unit can produce 640 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque. As a performance vehicle, that is enough for a top speed of 190 mph. The new Urus will sprint to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The 17.3-inch discs are the largest carbon ceramic brakes. Rear brakes are using 14.6-inch discs. The engine is sending power to all wheels. However, distribution is not equal. Front wheels are getting 40 percent of power and torque, while rear brakes get 60 percent. The AWD is adjustable and the system will send up to 70 percent of power to front wheels, and up to 87 percent of power to rear wheels. Besides that, the 2020 Urus offers few drive modes, so you can select it depending on the surface (street, sand, track, mud, snow). 2020 Lamborghini Urus ST-X Performante Concept
The next Urus is bringing an extreme edition. It is a production version of the ST-X concept, which could be called Performante. This is going to be a racing car with many upgrades around its body and under the hood. The special grille and front splitter will make the design special and attractive. On the other hand, the race-oriented model will be lower than the usual one. The unique suspension will provide the best outputs and performance. Of course, sport tuning adds a rear wing and unique set of wheels.

The base price of the new 2020 Lamborghini Urus will remain the same as before. The SUV is available for $200,000 with the base equipment. Upper trim levels are going up to $230k. The new ST-X Performante concept and its upgrades will start at $250,000.
