After its presentation at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show, the 2019 Infiniti QX50 will come with significant changes. The upcoming QX50 will share only name and badge with its predecessor. This luxury crossover SUV is based on the QX Sport Inspiration Concept and while there is no official release date, September and Frankfurt Auto Show are possible date and place.
The new engine is installed, the exterior looks amazing and the interior is boosted by latest tech features. Furthermore, the leather seats are now standard. Even that QX50 is an SUV the driving manners are more like a sports sedan, thanks to a powerful engine and taut suspension. The new Infiniti’s model will come with a better starting price than its competitors, it looks refined, comfortable and the cabin is quieter as well.
2019 Infiniti QX50 Seductive Style and Colors
The same design cues like on QX50 Concept can be also seen on 2019 Infiniti QX50. The shape and recess of the grille are visible at first look and it is painted in black. On top of that, front grille comes with some openings in the nose and a new LED strip is mounted at the top of the headlights. Below that, is an air dam, just like the corner vents. As for the colors, this model will have nine colors Graphite Shadow, Chesnut Bronze, Hermosa Blue, Black Obsidian, Liquid Platinum, Lunar White and three colors that will extra cost Eclipse Black, Dynamic Sunstone Red and Majestic White.
Dimension and Tires
The hood looks long and the roof is wider. The model’s dimension is slightly smaller as length is decreased from 186.8 to a 184.7 inches. Its wheelbase is now 110.2 inch. This makeover is giving new 2019 Infiniti QX50 both handsome and sporty profile. The wheels of this model are 19″ x 7.5J and it`s Silver Aluminum Alloys include black wheel center caps. Furthrmore, the tires are for all season Run-Flat and measures P235/55R19.

The interior of an all-new 2019 Infiniti QX50 is luxurious and the quality materials are excellent. The leather seats are now standard on all models, the same stands for microsuede trim on the door panels. In the center stack, two touchscreen displays are separating the infotainment labor. The first display is used for navigation and the second display is coming with plenty of apps, vehicle settings, phone pairing and even audio controls.
The interior is very pretty and attractive and one can choose nine combinations of fabric colors. The Wheat leatherette, Graphic leatherette / painted Aluminium interior trim accents and textured Aluminium interior trim accents. Also, one has a combination of Aluminum trim accents with White leatherette and Graphic. However, with additional package one can choose Wheat Semi-Aniline leather, Graphite Semi-Aniline and natural maple wood trim accents.
As for the legroom in this SUV, it is spacious and the cabin is wider also. At the rear, the sliding bench increases legroom so four adults can be fitted easier than ever. Furthermore, the technology is modern and amenities like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi and dual-zone climate control are a part of standard equipment now.

It will have CVT transmission. The current one mode is using 3.5-litre six-cylinder unit.

Preliminary results are showing that the 2019 Infiniti QX50 will come with better fuel economy than its rivals like Audi Q5 and BMW X3. 24mpg in the city, 30mpg on the highway and a 26 mpg combined are good figures for an all-wheel-drive model. With VC-Turbo engine, Infiniti’s forthcoming model will hit 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. At this moment there is no info about towing capacity.
2019 Infiniti QX50 Price and Release Date
The price for a base model of 2019 Infiniti QX50 is 40,500 while the fully loaded model can exceed $61,000. With the engine that is first of its kind, better fuel economy, luxurious interior and refined exterior, the price is more than fair.
Like mentioned, there is no official release date yet, but some speculations are saying that the new QX50 will make its debut in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The main opponents of the 2019 Infiniti QX50 are BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5 and Jaguar F-Pace.
