2019 Ford EcoSport Powertrain Options
The upcoming 2019 Ford EcoSport comes with two engine options. The base engine is a 1.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost with three-cylinders. It can produce up to 123 HP and 125 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, this engine is tied to a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting mode and front-wheel-drive configuration.
The optional and more powerful engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder drivetrain that is rated at 166 HP and 149 lb-ft of torque. The approaching 2019 Ford EcoSport is a very affordable model and its price depending on trim level. The first one and base S with front-wheel drive starts at $21,000. However, with the S trim and all-wheel-drive system, the price will go to 22.500. If one chooses to go for trim SE FWD it must pay little less than 24,000, while this same trim with AWD costs $25,500.
Furthermore, the best-equipped 2019 Ford EcoSport Titanium trim with FWD cost $27,000 and with all-wheel drive system $28,000. The newest Ford’s subcompact SUV will go on sale around September 2018. This crossover will rival models like Chevrolet Trax, Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V and others.
