The base unit will be powered by a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine. It will make 173 HP, with 166 pound-feet of torque. However, this one engine will come with older-style 4-speed automatic transmission and as a standard FWD. This engine will be available in trims SE, SXT and Crossroad.
The higher base trims come with a 3.6-liter V-6 an engine. This one is capable of emitting 283 HP, with 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine is only available in GT, AWD trims.
