The new crossover will be one of the sportiest SUVs in the market. Also, it comes next year as 2020 Chevy Blazer. Furthermore, price and specs are not official yet, but it seems like the vehicle is going to be affordable. However, it is not the rule for top models Chevy Blazer SS and Chevy Blazer RS. Finally, unique parts and features will make the interior of the crossover elegant and sporty at the same time.
The last time we saw a new Blazer was in 2005. Back then, the last version of this vehicle based on a truck platform was S-10 Blazer. It was a mid-size SUV. A few years earlier, the company discontinued the most famous K5 Blazer. Fans also know the story of a TrailBlazer. This was a trim level in S-10 generation. After some while, it became independent lineup of larger crossovers. Now, with the return of 2020 Chevy Blazer, fans are again questioning about its price and release date.
2020 Chevy Blazer Specs
The summer of 2018 started with unveiling the new Chevrolet Blazer. General Motors presented the brand-new vehicle that will take a position between Equinox and Traverse. Under the hood, the new SUV is coming with a 2.5-liter unit. The standard offer includes a nine-speed automatic transmission and two-wheel drive. The system is good to deliver 195 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is optional.
The second solution is a bigger V-6 engine. This, 3.6-l displacement is stronger. It can provide the 2020 Chevy Blazer with 305 horses and 270 lb-ft of twisting power. The same automatic gearbox is paired to this mill. Start-stop technology is included. All-wheel drive mode is using four wheels only when necessary with Traction Select feature. Finally, more upgrades are available at higher trim levels. One of them will be a dual-clutch system for all-wheel drive crossover.
Hybrid

According to what we saw, the 2020 Chevy Blazer will be similar to Jeep Cherokee. Well, these two are coming from different families, but its rivalry will make them almost equal. LED and HID lamps are there for the comeback. Wider grille makes this crossover more aggressive and elegant. On the other hand, designs of side panels and roofline are much sportier. Interior

One of the most favorite trim levels will definitely be 2020 Chevy Blazer RS. It is not the most expensive. Premier is top of the line version for most Chevrolet SUVs. But, the styling of the RS model is breathtaking. Interior and exterior paint are making a statement. Inside, premium black leather have red accents and stitches. Besides that, many more parts will get the special look for 2020 Chevrolet Blazer RS model. Outside, instead of 18-inch wheels, buyers are getting 20-inch rims.
2020 Chevy Blazer SS
Super Sport right from the start? Hardly, but possible. This is the top version any Chevrolet car can get. There are no many of SS models in history, and the 2020 Chevy Blazer SS could be the next. As the RS, it will have unique interior and exterior upgrades. While all other trim levels are using standard engines, the Chevrolet Blazer SS will get the special one. We still don’t know what can power this crossover. Be sure that the SUV will be able to compete with Audi RS Q3 and Mercedes GLA 45 AMG.

The 2020 Chevy Blazer is coming next year. As its name says, the crossover will be an edition for 2020. It will also depend on a hybrid model. But, this one would be a bonus, while the Blazer SS is a cherry on the cake.
