This engine comes with the 6-speed automatic transmission.

2019 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid Comeback
The first Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid model is introduced by the company in late 2008. After not so good sales, the company decided to discontinue this Hybrid engine from Tahoe model. In that time the manufacturer has used the popular Vortec 5.3L V-8 engine that makes 320 horsepower (239 kW)* and 340 lb.-ft. of torque (461 Nm) with a 300-volt battery pack. Also, this model has posses the 2-Mode full hybrid system. This system at that time is made to optimizes fuel efficiency in both city and highway driving.
However, after almost a 10 years, the rumors about the comeback of the Hybrid model is actual again. As per some rumors, the new model may get standard petrol unit and two electric motors. This combination will give this SUV better performance and fuel economy. However, we must add that this information is not yet officially said by the company. Unfortunately, there is no word about horsepower or mileage rating.

The 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe LS comes with the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price little less than $49,000. This price includes destination charge. However, the recommended middle trim that will provide much more features will cost $53.500. The last one Premium trim starts at $63,000. One can also choose 4WD system that adds another $3000. However, for the Hybrid variant, there is no price and release date at this moment.
