The forthcoming 2019 Cadillac XT4 is a compact crossover SUV that will ride on a unique platform and it will get a new engine. While behind its rivals, Cadillac opted for a new strategy in order to stay competitive. That includes plenty of new models and we already saw CT6 sedan and XT5 crossover.

Dimensions
The upcoming model 2019 Cadillac XT4 will keep the same dimension as in the current one. It comes with the dimension of 181.1 inches length and 109.4-inch wheelbase. The XT4 is significantly larger than model BMW X1 and less than 2019 BMW X3. However, with the same dimensionally are models Audi Q5 and the Lexus NX. The new SUV has around 3.1-inch-shorter wheelbase and is 8.4 inches shorter overall than big brother model XT5. The base curb weight is 3691 lbs.

The 2019 Cadillac XT4 is very safe SUV. It comes with plenty of new features if we compare it with the predecessor. Some of the standard ones include active panic brake assist, stability control system with traction control, StabiliTrak, front and rear park assist, front and rear roof-rail with rollover protection, automatic parking assist with braking (only in enhanced visibility package), side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, airbags and child restraints.

The upcoming 2019 Cadillac XT4 is priced at $36,000. This could be a huge win for the American carmaker as the BMW X3 costs around $40,000 and Mercedes-Benz GLC 41,500. This compact SUV will hit the dealerships later this year.
