2020 Audi Q7 Drivetrains

There are two types of petrol engines for the mid-size luxury SUV. You might find a 2.0-liter turbo-four drivetrain too small for this kind of vehicle. But, it can produce 250 hp and 275 pound-feet of torque. Quattro all-wheel drive configuration gets power through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. A four-cylinder engine needs less than seven seconds to accelerate 0-60 mph.

More power comes from a V6 engine. Supercharged 3.0 displacement sprints 0-60 mph in just 5.5 seconds. It creates 330 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque. The same transmission and Quattro system are the only options for this one.

A 3.0-liter engine is new and it can deliver either 230 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque, or 280 horsepower and 445 pound-feet. Engineers revisited these units for the 2019 season and added around 15 hp for each setup. Top of

In Europe, that is a 4.0-liter unit capable to produce 430 hp and an outrageous amount of torque – 665 pound-feet (900 Nm). With this unit, a special version of the Q7 SUV can sprint to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds. The US version could use a 4.0-liter V8 we find on an S8 sports car.
